Medical Leadership Opportunity

This role requires a medical professional to provide leadership and management of health center occupational processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in personnel development, medical compliance, and regulatory oversight.

Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and management of health center occupational processes
  • Recruit, interview, and hire doctors and nurses
  • Deal with complex staff issues
  • Complete CAP process for direct reports
Personnel Capability Development:
  • Onboard and orient new employees
  • Assure training of nurses and physicians
  • Coach and mentor medical staff
Compliance and Regulatory Oversight:
  • Assure completion of all required qualification and surveillance exams
  • Assure compliance with OSHA requirements
Integrate with Business Partners:
  • Provide medical expertise to plant and corporate HR
  • Participate in organizational strategy planning
Strategic Review and Planning:
  • Develop and/or review policies and procedures
  • Prepare for and participate in monthly GM Medical leadership meetings
Required Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)
  • Board certification in Occupational Medicine
  • Valid state medical license
  • English and Spanish
