Job Overview

A seasoned engineer is required to develop and certify transport category airplanes by integrating avionics systems and components from concept through certification, delivery, and in-service support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
  • Analyze and translate requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs and interface specifications.
  • Lead testing and validation efforts to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
  • Monitor supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.
  • Solve problems concerning fielded hardware and software throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Research technology advances for potential application to business needs, making recommendations for technology investments.
Essential Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering or Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering.
  • Proficient in both verbal and written communications in English.
  • Registration with the relevant engineering council.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience as a system engineer throughout the systems development process.
  • Experience in requirement management tools.
  • Experience with Integrated Modular Avionics and related standards.
  • Experience with commercial airplane certification, audits, and design review activities.
  • Experience with Model Based Engineering Design/Analysis using advanced Modelling & Simulation and Tools & Process development.
