The Quality and Engineering Specialist plays a pivotal role in our organization, overseeing quality management and technical reference.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing quality control processes for Landing Gear MRO.
  • Developing comprehensive quality improvement programs to enhance operational performance.
  • Providing technical guidance to analysts, ensuring adherence to internal procedures, manuals, and best practices.
  • Performing advanced data analysis, leading root cause investigations, and driving corrective actions.
  • Ensuring compliance with aerospace regulations, quality certifications (ANAC, FAA, ISO 9001), and approved technical data.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless quality management.
  • Supporting internal and external audits, providing technical support during regulatory inspections and certifications.
  • Developing and reporting on key quality performance indicators, identifying areas for process optimization and cost reduction.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of experience working in the aeronautical industry with quality and/or engineering.
  • Strong experience with quality auditing processes (aeronautical authorities) and supplier qualification.

Prioritize communication skills and teamwork. Additional technical skills include advanced quality tools, drawing interpretations, and knowledge of aeronautical regulations.

This position involves working in an office and shop floor setting within a regulated aerospace maintenance facility. Occasional hands-on inspections or shop visits may be required. The job may involve tight deadlines and collaboration across departments.
