Job Opportunity

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining plastic injection molds in optimal conditions, ensuring production of components according to required performance and standards.

To achieve this goal, the ideal candidate will develop, update, and multiply procedures and work instructions for service and maintenance of plastic injection molds, monitor adherence to the mold preventive maintenance plan, control the stock of plastic injection mold spare parts, coordinate corrective maintenance of molds and spare parts, control the documentation of technical services of plastic injection molds, prepare documentation for returning mold spare parts to the customer, develop training agendas for the tooling team, provide field technical support to the tooling team, support plastic injection mold validation activities (technical feasibility analysis, inspections of receipt of new mold, mold performance evaluations, etc), perform performance cause analysis of technical problems in plastic injection molds, coordinate and execute CAPAs related to the tooling area, report technical problems in plastic injection molds that compromise the factory's production plan, guide and monitor the team regarding compliance with SSO guidelines, request correction of SSO and environmental non-conformities identified in processes, equipment, or facilities under their responsibility.

Requirements:

  • Mechanical Engineering degree.
  • Course of specialization in the tooling area (desirable requirement).
  • Advanced English language skills (writing and speaking).
  • Advanced Portuguese language skills (writing and speaking).
  • Minimum of 03 years in plastic injection mold tooling.
  • Shop floor experience.
  • Team management experience.
