Chief Data Platform Architect

This role will contribute to enhancing our data platform to meet business objectives and improve systems.
Key Responsibilities- Evolve existing data platforms to optimize performance;
- Build processes to ingest data from Kafka, APIs, and Databases using Nifi for real-time visualizations and batch-loading;
- Apply transformations to data streams to ensure accuracy and consistency;
- Be involved in data modeling following standards such as Inmon, Kimball, Data Vault;
- Ensure data quality by verifying data consistency and accuracy;
- Stay up-to-date on research and development of new technologies and techniques to enhance the data platform;
- Have an investigative mindset to troubleshoot problems and incidents;
- Take full ownership of projects and tasks assigned, with the ability to work within a team;
- Able to document processes and perform knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Experience with modern cloud database technologies like Snowflake;
- Experience with orchestrating data pipelines using Airflow;
- Experience with SQL and Data Integration Tools;
- Experience with any programming language, such as Python or Java;
- Knowledge of AWS Services, such as S3/Lambda/API Gateways/DMS/RDS;
- Development experience in both Microsoft and Linux/Cloud environments;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
