Job Title: Senior Hydraulic Systems Engineer

Job Summary:

Boeing is seeking a Senior Hydraulic Systems Engineer to work on the development phase of a new airplane. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing system requirements, defining system architecture, and analyzing system performance through modeling and simulation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop system requirements and define system architecture
  • Develop or review hardware and software designs and associated interface specifications
  • Ownership of component level design requirements
  • Analyze system performance through modeling and simulation
  • Support the development, maintenance or modification of system, component and installation designs/proposals to provide design documentation to downstream groups
  • Perform and document analyses to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications
  • Perform detail design development and modification of mechanical and fluid system installations
  • Develop, verify, validate, and certify designs through both laboratory and airplane testing

Requirements:

  • Must have existing rights to work in Brazil
  • Must have a degree in Engineering
  • Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA)
  • Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language
  • In depth experience working in engineering product development

Preferred Qualifications:

  • In depth experience working in one full-cycle development on hydraulic systems
  • Experience working on innovative environments
  • Experience working with integrated cross-functional teams
  • Project management skills

Relocation: This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Additional Information: This requisition is for a locally hired position in Brazil. Candidates must have current legal authorization to live and work in Brazil. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.
