Financial Accounting Specialist

This role focuses on enhancing the accounting function through process improvement initiatives, leveraging expertise in GAAP and financial regulatory reporting.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, ability to lead and influence peers, and excellent communication skills.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor large-scale projects within the accounting department.
- Share accounting expertise with leaders and business lines by providing guidance on policy and procedural changes.
- Direct and guide accounting teams by reviewing financial information, reporting, and disclosures.
- Evaluate and implement new products, systems, and best practices within the accounting function.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree: Accounting or equivalent field.
- 5+ Years Experience: Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or similar field within the Banking or Financial Services Industry.
- Proven track record in process improvement initiatives with a finance or accounting department.
Benefits
- Competitive base pay range ($69,375 - $120,000 USD).
