Job Overview

The role of a Business Manager is to oversee the financial operations of Power Systems Brasil (PSB), providing strategic guidance and leadership to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage product costing, national content, transfer pricing, and standard cost reviews
  • Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A) for Power Systems Brasil and Retail Electric Power Division
  • Drive forecast and budgeting processes (ABP - Annual Business Plan, RBM - Rolling Business Management), monthly performance tracking, and executive reviews
  • Provide financial counsel and strategic insights to support variable, period, capital charge, and inventory
  • Support decision-making through scenario modeling, currency sensitivity analysis, and profitability studies
Required Skills and Qualifications

Business Acumen: Knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.

Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.

Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools, and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Financial Forecasting and Modeling: Knowledge of processes, tools, and techniques of financial forecasting and modeling; ability to explore and evaluate alternative financial scenarios and results.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Pre-advanced English

  • Brazilian CPA (CRC) certification or equivalent
  • Extensive accounting background with thorough knowledge of accounting flows and related methods
