Project Manager Position

  • Key responsibilities include:

Our Project Lead will act as the primary contact for all ECS-related topics, ensuring seamless landscape transition into SAP RISE. They will collaborate with extended teams to onboard customers into the cloud, manage provisioning and upgrades of system landscapes in the ECS Private Cloud, and work under pressure to constantly add value to customers and within the organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Strong project management competences.
  • Excellent business acumen and technology/solution background.
  • Process affinity and strong process orientations.
  • Profound IT backend technology experience.
  • Experience in performing system owner related tasks.
  • Experience in working with cross-cultural teams or individuals.
  • Ability to actively manage project escalations.
  • Experience in managing SAP release upgrades.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications

The following skills and qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Good understanding of SAP Cloud solutions.
  • SAP Basis Lead with strong knowledge and hands-on experience.
  • Network knowledge related to Hyperscalers such as Google, AWS, Azure.
  • Datacenter migration experience.

Work experience:

  • Strong professional experience in managing / running landscape provisioning, installation, migration, and upgrades, and minimum 3 years of experience in a customer-facing role with excellent command of de-escalating critical situations.

Language skills:

  • English (advanced/fluent written and spoken).
  • Portuguese (native/fluent written and spoken).
  • Spanish (optional - fluent).
