About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Development Manager to lead our growing team of software developers and QA engineers. As a key member of our SAP Datasphere Foundation team, you'll be responsible for managing a team of experts, driving innovation, and contributing to the development of end-to-end features and key services in SAP Datasphere and Business Data Cloud.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a growing team of software developers and QA engineers with different experience levels.
  • Lead, motivate, develop, and coach your employees to create an environment of education, trust, openness, agility, and motivation.
  • Contribute to the vision, strategy, architecture, and development of SAP Datasphere.
  • Guide the team on agile software development methodology, following DevOps principles.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to establish a close relationship and prioritize customer feedback, overall product strategy, and internal requirements.
Requirements
  • University bachelor's degree (or higher) in computer science or related fields.
  • Strong track record of demonstrated growth in technical leadership, including project management, team leadership, or equivalent.
  • Passion for robust, enterprise-scale software architecture, cloud mindset, entrepreneurial drive, and ability to drive innovation from idea to execution.
  • Proven track record in leading and successfully delivering analytical or data-driven cloud solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP environment, SAP development processes, and SAP delivery processes is a plus.
