Senior Payroll Strategist

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Senior Payroll Strategist.
About the Job:The Global Process Owner function at our organization is focused on setting and managing strategic agendas for payroll functions, aligning stakeholders across the organization, changing behaviors, reinforcing cultural norms, and reinforcing organizational brands across regions and functions. The GPO function leads end-to-end process communities and governs processes in alignment with functional and company policies.
- Maintain end-to-end global payroll processes and support management of process exception governance;
- Build digital capabilities to unlock process efficiencies and drive standardization globally and regionally;
- Develop end-to-end digital capabilities in partnership with digital owners to enable intelligent automation;
- Facilitate adoption of digital tools and drive continued usage through training programs and targeted learning initiatives;
- Support GPO project managers with prioritization, status reporting, and execution;
- Develop processes to collect and report on performance metrics, KPIs, and vendor SLAs associated with payroll processes;
- Support GPO function on vendor management tasks;
- Communicate strategic vision of Payroll GPO function to broad spectrum of stakeholders across the organization;
- Align key stakeholders across the organization on global process standards, advocate for behavior change, and reinforce cultural norms;
- Support integration of payroll strategies as appropriate with other functions and departments.
This role requires a minimum of 6 years of progressive business experience in payroll operations and/or in a process improvement role in a multi-national company.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge and/or experience with payroll, HR, and timekeeping technologies, as well as strong strategic thinking capabilities, a digital mindset, and excellent interpersonal skills.
