Senior Employment Practices Consultant

Key responsibilities include reviewing and analyzing complex cases to determine appropriate recommendations. Conduct workplace investigations, work environment reviews, conflict resolution, mediation, and training on corrective action processes. Coach and guide employees and leaders at all levels including executives related to concerns raised.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Relevant experience performing duties similar to those outlined above with advanced proficiency in conducting workplace investigations
  • Advanced knowledge of employment laws and regulations pertaining to employment
  • Experience partnering with legal resources to resolve complex and sensitive employee relations issues
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities in a complex fast-paced environment
  • Discreetly handle sensitive and/or private information
  • Self-directed and able to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and judgment skills with the ability to provide high-quality independent analysis conclusions and recommendations
  • Experience preparing and delivering information in a concise professionally written format
  • Excellent communication skills diplomacy and patience when communicating with others and diffusing difficult situations
  • Strong interpersonal skills verbal communication listening and problem-solving
  • Ability to advise and train HR colleagues on investigations best practices and employee relations matters
  • Able to cultivate strong working relationships with internal/external partners based on a high level of collaboration and inclusion
