Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our Public Policy team in Brazil. As a key member of our team, you will engage with policymakers, regulators, and government bodies on regulatory and advocacy issues.

The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of public policy and advocacy experience, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and project management expertise. Experience working in government, the private sector, a trade association, or a policy organization is also essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and advance legislative and regulatory initiatives
  • Build and develop efficient, positive, and long-term relationships with government stakeholders and other external partners
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand aspects of Netflix's business and its needs and secure alignment
  • Provide regulatory analysis and advice on the impact of public policy developments on the business
  • Handle or execute solutions to complex business problems
  • Represent the company in coalitions and trade associations
  • Manage external consultants

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of public policy and advocacy experience
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Project management expertise
  • Experience working in government, the private sector, a trade association, or a policy organization
  • Fluent English Skills. Spanish is a plus
