Key Responsibilities:

A senior financial manager plays a pivotal role in driving business outcomes for brands and categories. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, be able to provide actionable insights, and foster strategic decision-making within the organization.

Responsibilities include managing profit and loss statements, allocating costs efficiently, and providing financial input on return on investments. The candidate must also evaluate brand and category performance across various metrics, including sales, pricing, operating expenses, and headcount.

The successful candidate will lead the financial planning process, assess long-term business strategies, challenge assumptions, and ensure consistency of forecasts from a financial standpoint.

Additionally, this individual will participate actively in forecast and budget preparation, identify underlying assumptions, and challenge them to ensure consistency across the company.

  • Manage P&L per brand: follow up the evolution of the brand P&L to support business performance and ensure the right return on investments;
  • Carry responsibility for efficient cost allocation and optimization by providing financial input on Return on Investments;
  • Evaluate brand & category performance in terms of Sales, Pricing, Operating expenses, Headcount, thereby providing financial assessments allowing management to make informed business decisions;
  • Undertake analysis on performance vs. budget and market trends including share of voice/share of spend and provide recommended actions to stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of financial management principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial concepts effectively. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for building relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
