Our Data Science Team

The Data Scientist is responsible for extracting valuable insights from various data sources, both internal and external to the organization and its clients. This role explores usage patterns, profiles data from sources, and maps it to a conforming model. The Data Scientist works closely with business groups to develop and govern the model. They work with product teams to understand existing data, cleanse, and conform it. Additionally, they understand the business logic behind HR calculations and assist in creating new standard calculations for the organization.

This position requires knowledge and experience in data science, while acquiring higher-level knowledge and skills. They build knowledge of the company, processes, and customers, solving straightforward problems using standard procedures. The Data Scientist receives moderate guidance and direction.

Requirements

Education: Desired BA/BS degree or equivalent education and experience.

Experience: Desired related experience in the area.

Functional Knowledge: Requires expanded conceptual knowledge in data science and broadens capabilities.

Business Expertise: Understands key business drivers, using this understanding to accomplish their work.

Leadership: Provides informal guidance to new team members.

Problem Solving: Able to solve problems in straightforward situations; analyzes possible solutions using technical experience and judgment and precedents.

Interpersonal Skills: Communication - Explains complex information to others in straightforward situations.
