Procurement Manager

Job Summary:
This role is responsible for overseeing the procurement operations, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures. The successful candidate will have experience in managing teams, leading procurement vision, and guaranteeing customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervises operational activities of Procurement Operations team
- Initiates blanket orders and shared contracts as necessary
- Ensures all purchasing transactions adhere to policies and standards
- Accelerates day-by-day purchases and price canvassing
- Develops a roster of qualified and reliable suppliers
- Reviews and approves purchase requisitions
- Provides regular updates to end-users and CSPO on requirement status
- Performs commercial analysis and validates technical results
- Prepares presentation materials and leads meetings
- Closes issues encountered by direct reports with end-users and suppliers
- Maximizes cost savings
Staff Development:
- Trains and supervises direct reports
- Coaches staff to improve job skills
- Identifies training and certification programs
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- Professional license advantageous but not required
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Procurement or Supply Chain Management
- Experience in leadership or supervisory role
- Participation in major procurement project
- Knowledgeable in purchasing policies and practices
Location:
The position may be based in Makati but requires willingness to travel onsite to Calauan as needed.
