We are seeking a skilled Senior Architect and Team Lead to join our organization. This is an exciting opportunity for you to showcase your technical expertise, leadership skills, and passion for innovation.
This role involves leading and managing a team of technology professionals, driving architectural decisions, and ensuring the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of our systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create robust data architectures that meet business needs while fostering an environment of innovation and technical excellence.
The ideal candidate should have experience in designing and architecting scalable, secure systems, proficiency in modern frontend frameworks, solid backend development skills, and knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
You will be responsible for allocating tasks, orienting the workflow of the team, monitoring progress of deliveries, and acting as a bridge between product owners, project managers, team members, and directors.
Additionally, you will design and implement scalable, cloud-native architectures with a focus on microservices, define and enforce development standards to ensure high code quality, security, and performance optimization, and lead technology decisions regarding stack selection and infrastructure.
This role also involves collaborating with Agile/Scrum teams to align architecture with business goals, prioritizing scalability, resilience, and cost efficiency, driving observability and optimization through tools like Prometheus and Grafana, and database tuning.
You will mentor and manage developers, conduct code reviews, and ensure secure coding practices are followed. Communication skills are crucial in this role as you will need to translate business needs into actionable technical solutions and shape the technology roadmap by balancing business priorities with long-term technical evolution.
You will also document architecture, processes, and technical decisions to ensure smooth maintenance and future development.
Requirements- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in web application development, preferably with SaaS products.
- Proven experience as a team lead or senior developer with strong leadership skills.
- Strong expertise in designing and architecting scalable, secure systems.
- Proficiency in modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js).
- Solid backend development skills in Node.js, Python, or Ruby on Rails.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of relational (MS SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and DevOps practices.
- Strong understanding of data security, encryption, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
