Role Summary:
The Help Desk Analyst will provide first-line support for IT hardware, peripherals, and software issues, as well as assist the IT Services team in managing the deployment, configuration, and security of desktop and mobile computing devices and peripheral devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide timely and effective support for IT-related issues and problems
- Assist customers through phone, email, and/or ticket management systems
- Help manage the deployment, configuration, and security of desktop and mobile computing devices and peripheral devices
- Troubleshoot desktop and notebook/tablet hardware, peripherals, and equipment as necessary
- Liaise with vendors regarding repairs of computers
- Assist with compilation and management of IT asset registers
- Address and resolve basic incidents and requests, logging all incidents and requests
- Create a positive customer support experience, ensuring timely resolution or escalation, communicating promptly on progress, and handling customers with a professional attitude
- Work collaboratively with the IT team and perform other duties
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and qualifications:
- A degree in a related field
- 1-2 years of working experience or exposure in a similar role (advantageous but not essential)
- Willingness to relocate to the job location
