Green Climate Fund Grants Director

Conservation International is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Green Climate Fund Grants Director to join our team. As a key member of our Grants Management team, you will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of Green Climate Fund (GCF) projects and grants, totaling over $90 million.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the development and review of GCF proposals, including budget and financial annexes
- Provide oversight and guidance to grant managers and grantees on GCF policies and procedures
- Develop and maintain relationships with donors, including the GCF and UNOPS
- Manage the grant portfolio, including tracking and reporting on grant progress and compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective grant management and compliance
- 7+ years of experience in grant management, proposal development, and due diligence
- Direct experience with GCF policies and funding proposal development
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based research tools
- Master's degree in a relevant field
- Project management training or experience
- Experience working with multilateral or bilateral funders
- Proficiency in Spanish
