Backend Developer - Integration Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative integration solutions.

  • Design, implement, and maintain robust API integrations with leading national and global POS systems and delivery apps.
  • Develop algorithms to process massive datasets and generate reports for millions of products and orders.
  • Implement Machine to Machine (M2M) Authorization and ensure seamless interactions between systems.
  • Proactively anticipate and prevent performance bottlenecks, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop core product features that enhance our application.
  • Participate in code reviews, sharing expertise and learning from others to drive excellence.
  • Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience using Python in a web context (Flask and Eve), with proficiency in other languages welcome.
  • Experience building Web/REST APIs and familiarity with various API standards (REST, JSON-RPC, SOAP/XML).
  • Proficiency with Git and the CLI, as well as experience with API clients (Postman, Insomnia).
  • Experience building SaaS products and working in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Knowledge of databases, especially NoSQL (MongoDB).
  • Understanding of Docker or Kubernetes in a cloud environment.
  • Experience with TDD and testing frameworks.
