Job Title: Data Business Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled technical professional to join our sales team as a Data Business Developer. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in linking our data products to clients' business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical pre-sales support to our sales team, understanding prospect requirements and articulating the technical and business value of our data solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver custom data samples for prospects, leveraging your expertise in SQL and Python to extract insights from large datasets.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on our data offerings, explaining our products and enrichment processes at a deep technical level to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Work with clients to design and propose data solutions that meet their specific needs, ensuring they derive maximum value from our products.

Requirements:

  • A strong technical background, ideally from a STEM field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and analysis, with experience handling large datasets. Experience with tools like DuckDB is beneficial.
  • Good command of Python for scripting, data processing, and interacting with APIs.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • A business-oriented mindset, with the ability to connect technical features to business value. Experience in a client-facing role (e.g., consulting, sales engineering) is highly desirable.
