The Mobile Phlebotomist role at our organization involves collecting blood donations safely from volunteer donors in a compassionate and professional manner. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a healthcare environment and want to make a positive impact on the lives of many people.

This role requires utilizing job experience and knowledge to provide exceptional donor experiences, processing donors through their donor process using various computer systems, and taking personal responsibility for donor safety. Additionally, you will be responsible for setting up all supplies and equipment, completing daily QC, and ensuring all equipment and supplies are available before the collection event.

• A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required. Medical Assistant Certification or Phlebotomy Certification is strongly preferred.
• 6 months' experience in a Blood Center or other Healthcare environment is highly desirable. 1 year of experience in customer service is also preferred.
• Ability to effectively interact with diverse people and communicate fluently in English (verbal, written, and listening) is essential.
• Proficient with basic computer skills and office tools, such as Microsoft Office, and ability to use software relevant to the position.
• Ability to solve problems and make decisions, seeking guidance as necessary.

• This position reports directly to the Donor Collections Manager.
• Hours vary daily based on the schedule of blood drives and can be either 7am - 3pm or 12pm - 8pm.
• Staff work a variable schedule which may include early mornings, late nights, and on-call to cover weekends and holidays.
