Procurement Specialist Role

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to procure all necessary components to support production or prototype builds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in decision-making of Materials Planning through proper materials sizing.
  • Analyze, maintain, and execute Materials Requirement Plans (MRP) to ensure materials pipeline meets requirements.
  • Ensure materials availability to support production per Master Production Schedule through MRP execution, on-time delivery, and coordination of materials movement.
  • Eliminate materials liabilities by understanding ownership and tracking data to define customer liable materials.
  • Issue Purchase Orders with negotiated terms and conditions agreed upon by Commodity Managers and Buyers.
  • Optimize order management process to ensure effective communication with suppliers.
  • Maintain integrity of master data and purchasing planning parameters to minimize material liability.
  • Monitor and improve supplier delivery and quality performance.
  • Support Accounts Payable in resolving invoice discrepancies.
  • Provide inputs to drive and execute commodity and pricing strategy.
Requirements
  • Materials Planning and Sourcing experience.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with procurement systems and tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
