We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Operations Specialist to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our Data Center Services Procurement team, you will play a critical role in supporting the procurement process for data center construction categories.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Ensure compliance with procurement operations policies and procedures.
- Document and maintain accurate records of operations scope and processes.
- Develop and maintain expertise on all systems and policies related to team programs.
- Manage purchase request queues and intake workflows.
- Process purchase orders and resolve related systems issues.
- Minimize invoice approval escalations and holds.
**Requirements**
- 2+ years of program or project management experience.
- 1+ years of supply chain experience.
- Completed Bachelor's Degree or Associate Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Engineering.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Intermediate level knowledge of Excel.
- Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement documents.
