Senior Agile Project Leader

As a key member of our team, the Scrum Master will be responsible for facilitating agile ceremonies, removing impediments, and promoting collaboration among team members. This includes leading daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, as well as creating and maintaining detailed project reports to ensure transparency and visibility across the organization.

• Agile Facilitation & Scrum Mastery
  • Lead and facilitate agile ceremonies to ensure team effectiveness and delivery excellence.
  • Act as a proactive problem-solver, removing impediments and resolving issues in collaboration with technical leads.
• Project Management & Strategic Alignment
  • Collaborate closely with the tactical triad (Product Manager and Engineering Leads) to prioritize backlogs, plan sprints, and ensure business and technology alignment.
  • Create and maintain detailed project reports, providing clear visibility of progress to PMO Management and strategic stakeholders.
• Estimation, Planning & Risk Management
  • Coordinate with architecture and engineering teams to accurately estimate efforts, define realistic timelines, and proactively manage project risks and dependencies.
• Metrics & Continuous Improvement
  • Track key productivity metrics such as velocity, cycle time, and burndown charts to facilitate continuous team improvement.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation on learnings, decisions, and agile best practices within the team.
• Customer-Centric Culture
  • Foster a strong customer-centric mindset, ensuring solutions developed effectively address end-user needs and business objectives.
• Internal Solutions & Productization
  • Evaluate opportunities alongside technical leaders to productize internal solutions, enhancing efficiency and operational effectiveness.

• Technical Skills & Experience
• 3-5 years of proven experience as a Scrum Master or similar agile leadership roles.
• Demonstrated practical expertise in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), adapting approaches effectively to varying business contexts.
• Advanced proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Azure DevOps.
• Hands-on experience facilitating cross-functional teams and leading the planning and execution of technology projects.
• Familiarity with modern development environments: APIs, microservices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud computing (GCP preferred).
• Capability to create, track, and analyze agile metrics (velocity, cycle time, burndown charts).
• Intermediate project management skills, including report structuring, estimation, risk identification, and mitigation strategies.
• Education & Certifications
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Mandatory certification in agile or project management methodologies, such as Scrum Master (CSM, PSM I/II), SAFe Agilist, Agile Coach, or PMP.
• Desirable Qualifications
• Previous experience working in technology-driven environments, fintech, or insurance sectors.
• Language Skills
• Spanish: Native or fluent (required for internal communication and stakeholder collaboration)
• Portuguese: Native or fluent (required for internal communication and collaboration with stakeholders)
• English: Intermediate (B1/B2), capable of reading technical documentation and actively participating in professional meetings.
