Job Title: Auto Parts Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Auto Parts Specialist to join our team. As an Auto Parts Specialist, you will provide exceptional customer service to retail and installer customers.

  • You will support store management in achieving assigned tasks and promoting company customer service programs.
  • Greet customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Assist managers and installer service specialists with serving professional customers.
  • Complete assigned company training relevant to the position.
  • Provide excellent phone service by answering calls according to company policy and accurately looking up parts and quote prices.
  • Maintain and secure the cash drawer, process transactions, and address customer complaints.
  • Perform various daily operational tasks, including preparing merchandise returns and assisting with stock adjustments and inventory cycle counts.
  • Operate brake lathe and other store test equipment after corresponding training is completed.

Required Skills/Education/Knowledge/Experience/Abilities:

  • Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
  • Provide outstanding, friendly, and professional customer service.
  • Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a technical expert, providing product knowledge to customers.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with automotive parts, cataloging, and weatherly index system.
  • ASE certification.
  • Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
