Accounting Leader Opportunity

The ideal candidate will oversee financial accounting and reporting functions in Brazil and Latin America, supporting the growth of our Sao Paulo office.

This position requires solid professional experience with financial reporting and internal control responsibilities, as well as leadership skills to accomplish complex challenges.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced accountant who can drive results-oriented decisions and develop effective solutions to address business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee financial accounting and reporting functions in Brazil and Latin America
  • Develop and implement effective accounting processes and controls
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members to ensure successful project delivery
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to inform business decisions

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
  • CRC (local CPA) Certificate
  • Solid accounting experience
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Understanding of internal control frameworks and control design concepts
  • Thorough knowledge of IFRS and U.S. GAAP (including FASB Codification) and research tools

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPA certificate (or equivalent)
  • Big 4 experience with Fortune 500 clients
  • Operational accounting experience with international companies
