We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Manager to join our Fulfillment Center's Inventory Control and Quality Assurance team. Our Fulfillment Centers play a critical role in Amazon's rapidly expanding operations network, handling highly dynamic inventory.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of hourly associates in Inventory Control/Quality Assurance operations within the Fulfillment Center. This includes championing safety initiatives, ensuring full compliance with policies and procedures, and maintaining a safe and secure work environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and supervising a team of hourly associates in Inventory Control/Quality Assurance operations
  • Championing safety initiatives and ensuring full compliance with policies and procedures
  • Coordinating inventory control maintenance and random counts aligned with network strategies
  • Measuring quality, inventory integrity, and accuracy, delivering actionable feedback to the operations management team
  • Conducting shift planning and forecasting while effectively assigning and directing work
  • Identifying root causes of inventory deviations using cause-and-effect methodologies and implementing corrective actions
  • Driving and supporting network-wide Fulfillment & Operations-focused quality initiatives
  • Reviewing and analyzing customer complaints and process defect data, developing comprehensive action plans to minimize future occurrences
