Located in Porto Alegre/Brazil, provides software development and infrastructure for worldwide ADP products, working on large-scale initiatives across multiple geographies, including Brazil, United States and India. As an internationally distributed software development team, we are hiring:
Associate Developer
You will work closely with clients, product managers, analysts, architects, and engineers to plan, design, develop, test, and implement information technology solutions that align with our business objectives. Your responsibilities may include developing and reviewing requirements, creating design documents, writing programs, packaging, testing, configuring, and deploying software. You will also collaborate with other stakeholders, including security, quality assurance, training, project management, engineering, hosting, and procurement, as needed.
We expect our developers to be results-oriented, knowledgeable about new and legacy technologies, familiar with relevant platforms and environments, and aware of business processes, functions, and data within their domain. This will enable them to provide innovative, insightful, and secure solutions.
This is an entry-level position that typically requires a college or university degree or equivalent work experience that provides knowledge and exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts. You will develop competence by performing structured work assignments and using existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems. You will receive instruction, guidance, and direction from others.
Requirements:
Education: Desired BA/BS degree or equivalent in education and experience.
Experience: No previous professional experience is required.
Fuctional Knowledge: Requires conceptual knowledge or theories and practices and procedures within a discipline.
Business Expertise: Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience.
Problem Solving: Be able to use existing procedures to solve standard problems; analyzes information and standard practices to make judgments.
Interpersonal Skills: Communication - Exchanges straightforward information, asks questions and checks for understanding.
