We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Controller to join our team at Franklin Electric. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for analyzing costs and contributing to the improvement of our company's economic performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate cost estimates for new projects, considering direct and indirect costs and other expenses;
- Ensure that cost accounting is properly parameterized;
- Calculate product costs and provide support to achieve cost reduction for the company;
- Identify, understand, and correct unusual postings to the company's operations;
- Process routines inherent to the area in the EPR system;
- Support other department members on cost variations and inventory;
- Prepare management reports to assist in decision-making;
- Analyze contribution margin by product, line, and region;
- Ensure the provision of necessary information for budgeting and financial planning, as well as decision-making;
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts;
- Prepare expense reports by department and branch, evaluating variations;
- Prepare inventory comparison and variation reports for submission to the matrix;
- Prepare quarterly reports for submission to the matrix and internal decision-making;
- Calculate physical inventory turnover;
- Analyze and prepare a comparative report between production and sales for the month, comparing with previous months;
- Analyze the actual result versus budget on a monthly basis.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration;
