Job Description

We are seeking an experienced financial professional to join our team in São Paulo, Brazil.

This role will involve working closely with customers to ensure timely and accurate cash collection, identifying delinquent invoices, and implementing process improvements to enhance customer service and business support.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing daily accounts receivable aging reports to identify delinquent invoices requiring immediate action;
  • Determining the reason for delinquency and resolving it through cooperative efforts with customers and adherence to collection policies;
  • Documenting all collection efforts for each assigned account in the appropriate tool and reporting system;
  • Investigating invoice and billing discrepancies to ensure timely and accurate receivables according to due dates;
  • Providing timely follow-up on payment arrangements and driving actions to reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO);
  • Faster identification of payment for cash application;
  • Tracking progress against monthly forecasted goals;
  • Monitoring customer credit and financial health;
  • Educating internal and external customers on self-service tools;
  • Identifying and implementing best practices for Order-to-Cash processes; documenting operating procedures for complex customers;
  • Recognizing escalation trends, identifying defects, and root causes, following-through to resolution, including executive-level communication;
  • Partnering with and influencing Sales, Billing, Shared Service, and other teams to resolve defects;
  • Leveraging data from numerous databases and internal tools (using Excel, SQL, or other data management systems) to perform reporting and analysis;
  • Leading and supporting innovative multi-functional projects and teams;
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Fluent English language skills (written and spoken)
  • Experience in Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable
  • Applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
  • Knowledge of standard software including Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, SQL, and VBA skills
  • Experience using data to influence business decisions
  • Experience in corporate finance including budgeting/planning, forecasting, and reporting
Preferred Qualifications

Apart from the above requirements, we would love to see:

  • Participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
  • Experience in TM1, Data Warehouse, and SQL
  • Fluent Spanish language skills (written and spoken)
