Fit-Out Foreman Job Opportunity

Job Overview:

As a seasoned Fit-Out Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing daily site operations, supervising skilled tradesmen, and ensuring quality and productivity in every task. Your leadership skills and technical expertise will play a crucial role in achieving project objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily schedules, allocate tasks based on priorities and team members' skills, and foster a culture of teamwork and accountability.

  • Lead teams in fit-out trades, including carpentry, tiling, metalwork, glazing, partitions, ceilings, and painting, to achieve exceptional results.

  • Interpret and explain technical drawings to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.

  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with health and safety regulations.

  • Manage tools, materials, and workforce efficiently to enhance productivity and minimize waste.

  • Conduct regular quality checks, address minor issues promptly, and escalate critical concerns to the Site Manager.

  • Record and report daily site progress, delays, and corrective actions to facilitate informed decision-making.

  • Develop and mentor team members' technical and safety competencies through coaching and training.

  • Maintain discipline and promote a positive, respectful work environment on-site.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry, preferably in luxury interior fit-out projects.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Fit-Out Foreman managing multiple trades on high-end projects.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to coordinate diverse teams and subcontractors effectively.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and the ability to write detailed reports in English.
  • Valid First Aid Certificate is an advantage.
  • Fluent in English language.
