Job Title: Site Construction Manager - Luxury Fitouts

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Site Construction Manager to oversee high-end interior fit-out projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading multiple trades and ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Review daily schedules, assign tasks, and prioritize work based on project requirements and resource availability.
  • Team Leadership: Lead site teams in various trades, including marble, woodwork, metal fabrication, glazing, partitions, ceilings, and painting.
  • Technical Expertise: Interpret technical drawings, explain complex concepts to team members, and ensure accurate task completion.
  • Safety and Compliance: Enforce HSE policies, conduct regular safety inspections, and address any non-compliance issues promptly.
  • Resource Management: Manage tools, materials, and manpower to optimize productivity and efficiency.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks, resolve minor site issues, and escalate critical ones to the senior management.
  • Reporting and Communication: Record and report daily site progress, delays, and corrective actions to stakeholders.
  • Training and Development: Train, coach, and mentor team members to enhance their technical and safety skills.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry, with at least 2 years as a Site Construction Manager on high-end projects.
  • Luxury Fit-Out Experience: Previous experience in luxury interior fit-out is essential (hospitality, retail, commercial, or high-end residential).
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate diverse teams and subcontractors.
  • Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of technical drawings, construction materials, and interior finishes.
  • Productivity Improvement: Proven track record in productivity improvement, quality management, and safety enforcement.
  • Language Skills: Basic computer skills and fluency in English.
