The Role: Senior Medical Affairs Manager in LATAM
We are seeking a seasoned Medical Affairs professional to lead our efforts in LATAM, focusing on driving business growth through strategic partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), medical societies, and other stakeholders. As a Senior Medical Affairs Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive strategy that enhances the adoption of our products and services in the region.
- Drive the development and implementation of a robust KOL management strategy, fostering strong relationships with KOLs across LATAM to build knowledge and advocacy for our solutions.
- Facilitate KOL engagements in Med Affairs initiatives, including key Advisory Boards, presentations, and publications.
- Provide high-quality, clinical insight-driven medical and scientific expertise to support content development for advisory boards, scientific symposia, presentations, and publications.
- Establish and strengthen relationships with key opinion leaders, medical societies, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Develop a strategy outlining key evidence and publication requirements for LATAM.
- Contribute to scientific articles, abstracts, and outcomes-based presentations and publications to exemplify the services and products of the company.
You must have a degree in nursing – Wound and Ostomy Care or an MD/PhD in life sciences degree. A strong command of Spanish, Portuguese, and proficiency in English (speaking and written) is desirable.
- Previous experience in the medical device, biotechnology, and tissue biologics industry is required.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Wound, Ostomy, and/or Continence care therapeutic landscape, with a strong understanding of Latin American medical landscape is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, clinical trial design, and evidence generation in LATAM is essential.
- Expertise in scientific communication, including publications, conference presentations, and medical education.
- Exceptional quantitative, analytical, and written skills.
- Excellent negotiation skills for a wide variety of audiences, including sales and marketing leadership.
