Job Title: Financial Operations Specialist
Role OverviewThis is an exciting opportunity to join our organization as a Financial Operations Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the Operations Departments with budget exercises and revisions, providing financial advice and guidance on cost and financial matters.
Key Responsibilities- Produce actuals vs. budget reports for each department, including Exploration, Cost Report, and Drilling Cost Report.
- Participate in the procurement process (Purchase to Pay), approving Purchase Requisitions, issuing Call-off orders, and processing goods receipt.
- Contribute to the assessment of contract variations and identify cost trends.
- Maintain a system for storing and retrieving budget and cost documents.
- Prepare information for closure works, including provisions of technical costs and time sheeting/cost allocation cycles.
- Perform internal controls related to cost control of departments under responsibility.
- Provide technical assistance to Management as needed.
Affiliate with processes and procedures to be optimized or implemented. Our company is undergoing SAP migration to Unisol version 3, representing a change management project alongside regular activities. It is essential to cope with complex Brazilian tax and regulations.
The ideal candidate holds a university degree in accounting, economics, administration, or engineering and has experience in the Oil & Gas industry. Fluency in English is required, with a minimum of 3 years' experience desirable.
