The role of Supervisor Accounts Payable is an exciting opportunity for a professional with leadership skills and experience in collections, billing, and finance. As the supervisor of the Accounts Payable team, you will be responsible for supervising, training, and motivating your team members to achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities- Supervise and evaluate the performance of your team members, providing guidance and support to help them develop professionally.
- Establish priorities and train team members on new policies and procedures, ensuring that they are aligned with operations and financial teams.
- Lead vendor payments, focusing on customer satisfaction and excellence.
- Oversee Concur travel expenses, addressing issues with operations and reporting expense provisions to accounting in a timely manner.
- Administer corporate credit cards, properly booking and maintaining accurate data in accounting software.
- Ensure accurate data entry in Oracle EBS and complete month-end duties as outlined on the close checklist or as requested.
- Reconcile AP balance sheet and income statements accounts, researching errors and working with teams to correct variances and improve processes.
- Implement internal controls and contribute to the development of financial systems.
- Perform transaction analysis and identify process improvement initiatives for assigned areas.
- Degree in accounting or business administration.
- Experience with Oracle Financials or other ERP systems.
- Proven experience in collections, billing, and/or finance.
- Strong leadership and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and 365 applications.
- Advanced proficiency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
