Senior Android Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Android Developer to join our talent network. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and shipping Android apps to large user bases, with advanced proficiency in Kotlin.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy high-quality Android applications that meet the needs of our clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Android features with other technologies.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Android trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve application performance and user experience.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Android development, with a strong focus on Kotlin.
  • Advanced English language skills.
  • Successful completion of a four-year college degree.
  • Strong proficiency in RxJava, HTTP networking (e.g., Retrofit, OkHttp), and Android database frameworks (e.g., Room, SQLite).
  • Proficiency in unit testing for Android (JUnit, Mockito).
  • Strong understanding of Android UI/UX best practices.
  • Experience with TypeScript, React (including embedded React controls in Android), and NextJS.
  • Exposure to iOS development (Swift or Objective-C).
  • Knowledge of web UI frameworks (Angular).
  • Familiarity with analytics tools and A/B testing platforms (Firebase, Amplitude).
