Drive Financial Growth as a Retail Finance Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Retail Finance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for driving financial strategy, analysis, and reporting for a category retail business unit.

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about finance and retail. The ideal candidate will have experience in retail or consumer finance, with a strong background in financial analysis, reporting, and business partnering.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain detailed financial models and forecasts to support strategic decision-making for the retail business.
  • Analyze sales, expenses, inventory, and other key performance metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for operational improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with category leaders and vendor managers to understand business drivers and provide financial guidance.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate insights to cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Owning the retail financial planning and budgeting process, ensuring alignment with overall corporate goals.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 6 years of experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field.
  • Experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses.
  • Experience in building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making.
  • Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA or CPA certification.
  • Knowledge of SQL/ETL and experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools.
  • Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results.
