- Job Description

- Conduct inspections on welding processes, hardness, and thermal treatment, according to approved procedures and specifications, interpreting and implementing regulatory requirements.

- Verify quality through visual inspection, dimensional measurement, electrical parameters, layout, and welding environment, ensuring compliance with ABNT NBR 14842 and applicable certifications.

- Collect data for performance analysis of welders and operators, identifying needs for process adjustments and training.

- Prepare or issue inspection instructions for welding and qualified professionals lists, according to technical norms and specifications.

- Confirm quality certificates for materials, ensuring compliance with technical requirements.

- Serve as technical leadership in inspection processes, training, and orienting the team for problem-solving and technical improvement.

- Ensure that quality inspections and special processes are in accordance with defined procedures by Engineering, through inspections and execution monitoring.

Requirements:

  • Technical course in Mechanics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics
  • Intermediate level of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
  • Basic English
  • Experience in quality control activities in the welding process
