- Lead R&D projects from concept through commercialization, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Manage and mentor a team of laboratory professionals to optimize performance and innovation.
- Oversee the development and testing of new adhesives and product formulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, sourcing, and engineering.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues, including customer complaints and field support.
- Present technical findings and project updates to internal stakeholders and leadership.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Support internal and external audits and maintain technical documentation.
- Train internal teams on product applications and technical topics.
- Participate in global and local strategic initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in R&D, preferably in adhesives or flexible packaging.
- Proven leadership experience managing technical teams and projects.
- Strong knowledge of product development processes and laboratory operations.
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Master's degree or MBA with a focus on technical or industrial management.
- Experience working in a global manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance in chemical manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience with customer-facing technical service.
- Knowledge of CRQ and related industry certifications.
