Internship Opportunity

Absorb knowledge and skills in a dynamic engineering environment. As an intern, you will be integrated into our business operations and experience various aspects of engineering review, technical problem solving, and research and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop skills and knowledge of core business functions including but not limited to: Engineering Plan Review, Technical Plan Review, Research and Product Development, Operational Safety and Evaluation, Data Science and Digital Services.
  • Provide engineering support in the form of design review and analysis assignments typically involving a major project or several smaller, less complex projects.
  • Assist with detailed engineering review of plans as assigned for compliance with applicable Rules, Regulations, and contract commitments.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 is required.
  • Working towards an engineering degree at an accredited school with completed 50 semester hours towards that degree before the start of the internship.
  • Basic engineering knowledge and proficiency in Excel and AutoCAD are preferred.
Benefits:
  • Full-time student currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a BS, MS, or Ph.D. degree in one of the following engineering disciplines: Civil Structures, Electrical Systems, Mechanical Systems, Ocean/Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture.
  • Valid US Driver's License required.
  • Satisfactory driving record strongly preferred.
Reporting Relationships:

The Internship Program is housed in an HR Cost Center. This position does not have any direct reports.
