About the Role

This is a high-level government relations position, focusing on strategic partnerships with key government agencies. The successful candidate will have an in-depth understanding of government procurement processes and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a key government partner relationship to ensure alignment on objectives and activities
  • Drive revenue from key government clients by identifying suitable products and facilitating sales efforts
  • Cultivate relationships with federal, state, and/or municipal government entities to explore new revenue opportunities
  • Represent the organization at events, conferences, and trade shows to uncover business prospects
  • Act as the organization's representative in institutions affiliated with the company

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (business, marketing, public administration, etc.)
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in government affairs, strategic partnerships, or business development
  • Strong networking abilities to build and maintain relationships with government entities and key stakeholders
  • Effective sales techniques, marketing strategies, and negotiation skills to drive revenue from government clients
  • Demonstrated capability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel to attend events, meetings, and engage with government entities as required
