Role Summary
We are seeking a Finance Assistant/Jr. Analyst to input and extract accurate financial data into our financial system. The individual will research and analyze financial information to assist the company in making well-informed decisions, monitor financial transactions, and maintain operations. Responsibilities include reconciliation, accounts payable, and receivable for the Brazilian office as well as other company offices. Working closely with the finance team, the individual will ensure accuracy and efficiency in all financial processes. Strong attention to detail, proficiency in financial software, and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role. Essential Responsibilities
• Consolidate and analyze financial data.
• Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance.
• Conduct business studies on past, future and comparative performance and develop forecast models.
• Track and determine financial status by analyzing actual results in comparison with forecasts.
• Bank reconciliation - Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data.
• Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function.
• Accounts payable, receivable, reconciliation, validation of travel expenses, IS/BS validations.
• Collect and organize financial documents. Keeping records up to date per our internal processes
• Monitoring and controlling expenses.
• Validation of Taxes calculations and reconciliation with our Financial System Balances.
• Issue Purchase Order and logging Invoices.
Qualifications/Requirements
• Education: Bachelor degree (Or ongoing) in Business administration, Accounting, Economy and related areas.
• Experience: o At least 2 years of relevant experience in corporate finance(PTP/OTC), or other related fields.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel.
• PowerBI is desirable.
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
• Attention to accuracy and detail required.
• Language: English – Intermediate (Independent)
• Proven working experience as a Finance Analyst.
• Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office and financial software applications
• Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills
• Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance and information analysis
• Well informed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, money market and business environments
