Planning & Controlling Analyst

Are you interested in joining our team by becoming our new Planning & Controlling Analyst for Latam region, based in our São Paulo office?

Reporting to the Finance Director Latam, in this position you will handle planning, reporting and analysis for Allianz Commercial Latam, with close exposure to internal clients and senior management.

In this position you will:

- Support the Finance Director, the LOB Heads and the global planning team on managing and steering of the business portfolio of Allianz Commercial Brazil.
- Work with the GPS colleagues in NA and other countries in order to complete all budgeting, cost monitoring and monthly perfrormance reports activities whilst supporting the Finance Director to consolidade the MI / reports for Allianz Commecial Brazil and LATAM.
- Work in collaboratoin with other business areas and provide appropriate support to the regional leadership team, to develop solutions in order to realize efficiency gains (focus on cost optimization).
- Manage regular reporting, forecasting and planning processes in own area of responsbility, in line with both customer and global requirements.

To be successful in this role you are expected to bring:

- Excel and Powerpoint skills to effectively analyze data and convey messages in a winning fashion. Ideally familiar with reporting tools (e.g. SAP).
- Finance and Insurance know-how (ideally P&C) as well as understanding of complexities inherent in an insurance group (consolidation processes, legal vs management view) allowing for cross-departmental thinking and acting.
- Understanding insurance financial statements and their performance measurement.
- Proven experience in planning and performance management of financials statements and respective analysis.
- Proven experience in communication of results to a variety of stakeholders.
- Bachelor degree, preferably in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or qualified by experience in related discipline.
- Analytical thinking and numeracy: Ability to identify patterns and root causes in complex (e.g. ambiguous, from various sources) data and processes to rapidly distill key issues and provide insight in various situations.
- Communication and Presentation Skills: Ability to understand, elaborate and convey information clearly and effectively in respect to the audience / level of management (both verbal and in writing).
- ** Fluent in Portuguese and English. Fluent in Spanish is desirable.**
