Preferred qualifications: - Experience in managing stakeholders, executive sponsors, or equivalent experience in a client-facing role. - Experience developing strategies and delivering results through project management, implementation, and evaluation with excellent attention to detail. - Understanding of societal systems of bias and the geopolitical landscape that impacts underrepresented groups and identities. - Ability to clearly and persuasively communicate ideas, insights, and strategy, across geographies and at all levels of the organization, in a way that influences people to take action. - Ability to navigate through complexity and ambiguity, taking thoughtful risks with a bias to action in fast-paced oriented environments. **About the job**: The Google People Services, Operations function is the services and program management group within People Operations that makes HR stuff easy and intuitive for Googlers. Our global team optimizes people processes, from problem definition to execution. We partner with teams across People Operations and in engineering to bring innovation and technology to the way we attract, retain and grow Googlers worldwide. We focus on providing an amazing experience to past, present and future Googlers, and work in Google’s fast-paced environment to deliver 100+ operational services, manage the contingent workforce and implement HR programs across 70+ countries. Regardless of location or level of experience, members of the Operations team have the opportunity to create, develop and implement some of the most complex global operations around the world. In this role, you will serve as an advisor to Employee Resource Group (ERG) global and chapter leads. You will provide day-to-day advisory support to align business objectives to ERG goals, engage with leads as a liaison to Employee Engagement and the business, and communicate with ERG leads and members to ensure trust, inclusion, and belonging goals are prioritized and met. You’ll play an essential role advancing a more diverse, accessible, equitable, and inclusive Google through our hiring, promotion, retention, and inclusion practices. **Responsibilities**: - Serve as an advisor to Employee Resource Groups (ERG) providing strategic guidance and oversight and build relationships with ERG Leads to ensure alignment with Google diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy. - Organize and facilitate regular meetings with ERG Leads and ERG Executive Sponsors to set and align strategy, Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), and accelerate results. - Create and execute impactful programs for each of your ERGs with a focus on intersectionality. - Track and measure impact for the ERG’s you advise, aligned to broader ERG metrics and inclusive of ERG level developed goals. - Capture and share ERG feedback with the team to set and inform strategy for corresponding ERG Leads and ERG Executive Advisors.
