Huge O&G multinational subsea company seeks for a Purchasing and Logistics Manager to be based in Rio de Janeiro - capital.

**Main tasks and responsibilities**:

**Placing orders and issuing PO’s to our suppliers together with our project team.**
Responsible for arranging freight and logistics together with our project team.
Responsible for arranging freight and logistics together with our project team.
Proactively following up on orders, order confirmations and delivery dates in ongoing projects/purchases.
Follow up and be responsible for inventory in our workshop/storage site.
Improvement measures/responsible for our procurement and logistics processes.
Participate and be responsible in negotiations on major procurements together with management.
Qualify and Audit suppliers.

Background
- Oil and gas, preferably Subsea
- Good English oral and written skills
- Hands on
- Based in Rio
- Reports to Managing Director
