**Welcome to our LATAM Technical Service team for Bioenergy**

You will become part of our Bioenergy Technical Service team, collaborating closely with our colleagues in Sales & Marketing to provide world-class technical support and innovative solutions to our customers in Bioenergy space.

We are looking for a highly motivated Industry Technology Specialist (ITS) to be a key part of the Bioenergy team. In this role, you will help grow our LATAM business in the Bioenergy Industry by developing multi-layer sales relationships with accounts. **In this role you’ll make an impact by**:
Collaborating directly with our customers and realizing the implementation of new biotechnologies that reduces cost, energy while enhancing yields and profits. Working alongside ITS colleagues and Account Managers, you will play a pivotal role in comprehending customer needs and processes to deliver world class technical services and exchange industry insights. This role offers the chance to enhance your expertise in novel technologies and expand your industry network while making a meaningful impact on the organization and those around you with your valuable insights.

**To succeed you must hold**:

- Strong scientific skills based on a university degree in Chemistry, Chemical / Industrial / Biotech / Bioprocess Engineering or related.
- M.Sc. or Ph.D degree is a clear asset, but not essential
- Knowledge of lab scale fermentation protocols and experience in plant scale fermentation
- Ability to translate technical insights and data into customer-relatable values
- Excellent communication skills to engage with customers and internal stakeholders
- Willingness to work in industrial scale and field based environment
- Identify business opportunities and competitive threats and develop action plans to deliver/mitigate
- A flair for providing technical training - internally as well as externally
- Experience with design of experiments (DOE), analyzing data and a basic understanding of programming.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.- Fluency in written and spoken Portuguese and English
- Ability to travel extensively, mainly within Brazil (50-60%)
