**Job Summary**

This position is responsible for coordinating the acquisition of raw materials to be used in Brazil for the Lubrizol do Brasil business, ensuring compliance with the area's procedures and alignment with business strategies.

Main responsibilities include:

- Define and implement the supply strategy for critical raw materials for Lubrizol's business segments.
- Qualify suppliers and acquire, in accordance with procedures and policies, Lubrizol's raw materials.
- Interact with the business to ensure alignment with its strategies, and with the Corporation to ensure local implementation of global procurement policies, procedures and processes.
- Build solid relationships with suppliers.

**Main Activities**
- Comply with the requirements of the Integrated Management System, guaranteeing its updating with regard to the purchase of raw materials.
- Support compliance with corporate and regional Health, Safety and Environment policies.
- Continuously interact with the businesses in order to ensure the alignment of strategies.
- Define and implement strategies for the purchase of raw materials that are aligned with the strategies and demands of the business.
- Select, qualify (including steps related to Raw Material Request System purchases) and evaluate raw material suppliers.
- Ensure Source Lists and Purchase Info records are updated.
- Receive suppliers and supplier representatives for technical and commercial contacts.
- Carry out technical and commercial visits to suppliers.
- Analyze and select the most suitable source for the purchase of raw materials, considering price and availability.
- Be responsible for sourcing local and imported raw materials, including negotiating with suppliers, in accordance with Lubrizol's Procurement Policy and Procedures.
- Monitor raw material purchase orders, working with the import team in Brazil when necessary.
- Maintain files and communicate non-conformities internally and with raw material suppliers.
- Proactively resolve issues related to the raw material purchasing process.
- Work together with the corporation's raw material procurement team.
- Monitor KPIs related to raw material purchases.
- Functionally and administratively manage the direct procurement team.

**Main Requirements**
- Bachelor’s Degree;
- 7-10 years of Procurement experience;
- Fluent English and desirable Spanish skills;
- Microsoft office package;
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills;
- Capable of balancing multiple projects effectively, prioritization;
- Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization.
