The SMB Regional Marketing Manager, LATAM is an exciting opportunity to help introduce TikTok to Latin America (LATAM) SMBs and enable their early success on the platform. This is a leadership role in the Upper Funnel segment of the larger SMB GBM team, owning responsibility for our lead generation and enablement goals in key LATAM markets.
**Responsibilities**:
Overall, the SMB Regional Marketing Manager, LATAM is responsible for helping build a robust Upper Funnel of SMB advertiser prospects across key markets in the region and equipping them for early success on the platform. You'll achieve this through a variety of strategic partnerships, programming, campaigns, and channel marketing efforts. Specific responsibilities include:
- Develop comprehensive SMB Upper Funnel marketing strategy for LATAM
- Develop and maintain a clear understanding of country-specific nuance and needs and support adjustments in each key market as appropriate across strategy, messaging, programming, etc.
- Own and deliver against regional targets relating to awareness, traffic, lead generation, and product adoption/funnel progression
- Execute activities and collaborations to expand reach and impact of Upper Funnel programming, managing all related tasks including developing creative/project briefs, localizing content, working with agencies, engaging partners, etc.
- Leverage, optimize organic marketing channels (website, social, blog, newsletter, etc) to boost traffic and engagement
- Create measurement infrastructure to properly track and assess progress to goals
- Work closely with Regional SMB Sales team counterparts to align on priorities, strategies, and programming
- Collaborate with SMB Regional Marketing Leads on joint Upper Funnel iniatives
- Regularly report on strategy progress, opportunities, and challenges
- Liaise and leverage opportunities with other internal cross-functional partners to advance SMB Upper Funnel marketing goals
- Identify, pursue thought leadership and other strategic positioning opportunities within SMB marketing landscape (conferences, events, panels, etc.)
- Represent team/TikTok in external programming, media opportunities as needed
- 5-7 years of experience in a relevant marketing role
- Demonstrated experience in developing, executing innovative strategies that have driven quantifiable results
- A deep understanding of the local SMB competitive landscape and knowledge of general SMB needs and challenges
- Ability to balance visionary thinking with operational excellence
- Experience managing creative agencies
- Expert written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to persuade at the leadership level
- Experience with tracking and analysis of key marketing impact metrics
- Collaborative mindset, with ability to accommodate competing ideas and priorities in one cohesive strategy
- Passion for TikTok
- Fluency in written and spoken English, plus Spanish and/or Brazilizan Portuguese
- Bonus points for expertise in the areas of design, content production, and/or brand strategy
