We are building the largest vehicle subscription and financial services platform for commercial drivers and transport operators across Africa. Our proprietary technology is enabling Drivers with no banking history** to access low to zero emission vehicles, insurance, digital wallets and eHailing services on a subscription basis**.

Our internal and external customers have high expectations for web apps - speed, responsive and constant availability. This is where you come in, you _will be designing and implementing optimal solutions to complex problems and to meet critical business needs._

**What you'll be doing**:

- **Leads the implementation** of significant frontend features
- Works with other teams to** identify priorities** for releases
- Assigns frontend engineers direction issues
- Continues to spend part of their time **coding**:

- Ensures that the **technical decisions and process are followed**:

- **Ensures quality** implementation of design materials
- **Prioritize frontend issues** that lead to a bad user experience
- **Review of the merge requests **made by Frontend engineers
- **Defines best practices **and coding standards for front-end group
- **Collaborate effectively** with Product Designers, Developers, and Designers

**It can be a perfect match if you meet**:

- ** Conversational level of English**:

- **+ 4 years of** working experience in f**ull stack development team with MERN stack**
- At least** 1 year of experience leading, mentoring, and training teams** of frontend engineers
- Expert knowledge of JavaScript (ReactJS preferred)
- Passionate about testing and design principles
- **Experience with Agile Software Development Techniques and Tools** such as: SCRUM/Kanban/Extreme Programming/JIRA/Trello
- Version Control (Github/Bitbucket)
- TDD (Test Driven Development)
- Proficient in DevOps (GCP)
- Continuous Integration
- Knowledge of Docker/Vagrant

**It would also be a plus if you...**
- Basic knowledge of NodeJS and other Javascript Framework is a plus but not a requirement
